Speak with your property manager before adding a pet to your household. Tell us the rental address, the type and number of animals, and any useful details about their care and suitability for the property.
Current rules distinguish new pet requests from pets already approved and include exemptions for disability assist dogs. Where consent is required, the landlord must reply in writing within 21 calendar days and needs reasonable grounds to decline.
